Cocktails have hit their resurgence internationally and one only has to think about classic ingredients like vermouth and Campari to remember that Italy has strong ties to the cocktail industry. This cocktail seminar places Italian cocktails in their cultural context and explores ancient mixed drinks, lost pre-war spirits, local spirit production and Italian-style cocktails. From classics, such as the Negroni and the Milano-Torino, to modern twists, you will come away with a greater understanding of cocktail culture in Italy, from aperitifs to digestifs, as well as knowledge of the history behind the cocktails and spirits most common to the country.
The cost is $150 for 1.5 hours and is a flat fee for your group of 1 to 6 people. Rates for larger groups vary so let me know if your group size exceeds 6 and I’ll furnish additional pricing. The fee excludes the cost of alcohol (I’ll suggest affordable drinking options available at your local wine shop or liquor store and suited to your group size. I’ll connect with your local and build the tasting list with you based on your drinking preferences).
If this is a gift, I will send a personal note to the recipient!
